Yesterday, Andrew Scheer, leader of the official opposition was blasted for not contradicting part of an audience member’s question concerning ‘Pizzagate’. The conspiracy theory accuses Clinton and her team of running a child sex ring out of Comet Ping Pong, a pizza shop in Washington, D.C.
This was big news for the CBC and other main stream news sources. Prime Minister Trudeau also blasted Scheer for not contradicting the questioner. “Someone made just a terrible comment about a bit of fake news that is absolutely heinous in its substance called Pizzagate,” Trudeau said during an armchair discussion at an Catholic teachers association meeting in Ottawa on Saturday. “And [Scheer’s] response was, ‘Oh I didn’t hear that comment in the question.’”
Pedophilia. This is significant in this story. Pizzagate is a conspiracy theory, yet these ideas are propagated within our communities.
What is very interesting is that main stream media is all over this faux pas by Mr Scheer, yet when it was revealed in 2018 that Toronto Muslim police chaplain Musleh Khan did not condemn, but rather excused Mohammed’s marriage to a nine year old (Aisha) CBC nor any main stream news source certainly did not report on this.
Mr Scheer is denounced for not correcting a question about a conspiracy theory concerning pedophilia, yet you hear no condemnation of Mr Khan for his views on child marriage. No condemnation from media, no condemnation from politicians.
Musleh Khan is a Canadian Saudi born imam affiliated with the Islamic Institute of Toronto (IIT) who also serves as a chaplain for the Toronto Police.
Mr Khan has given at least two lectures on the subject of child brides, specifically speaking about Mohammad’s child bride Aisha. Following are some quotes from these lectures:
“The husband’s got to be somebody that’s very tolerant and he’s got to have wisdom. He’s got to have wisdom and how to speak to a person like this [9-year-old wife]. How to build a relationship with an individual like this[9-year-old wife].”

“So what is the real age to get married if it’s so different everywhere you go? The answer it’s our prophet [Mohammad] peace and blessings be upon [who ruled] at the age of puberty.”
